Mr. Ridge Riley
Have you met the amazingly wonderful Ridge Riley??? Well if you haven't I can tell you that you are missing out! Ridge is a vivacious 18 year old with a zest and love for living. The world is at his feet and he is ready to take it head on.
Ridge was born on March 23, 1996 to Jason & Natalie Riley. He has always loved being outdoors and enjoys farming, dirt biking and hunting in all forms - archery, rifle and with his five hounds. Thus far in his young life he has harvested five antelope, five whitetail deer, and one bull moose when he was 15. He will be graduating from Madison High School this May and then plans to attend BYU-Idaho and is thinking of becoming a veterinarian.
So you may be wondering why is Ridge being featured on the USRB blog. Well... for Ridge's Eagle Project he built fifty, yes 50, target stands out of rebar for USRB 3-D targets on February 21st over a three night span. This project took a lot of time to complete with planning it all, measuring, cutting and welding together the stands. Ridge was dedicated and driven to complete this project. So when you are at the Byron Harris Memorial Shoot on May 3 & 4 (which of course you wouldn't miss - right?!) check out the stands. Having these stands is a huge help to USRB. It is so nice to have sturdy, well-made, stands. It helps keep the targets in a solid upright position making it easier for archers to hit the target as they aren't wavering or moving. So make sure you stop Ridge when you see him to give him a huge shout out and tell him thanks!
